LAHORE: The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Punjab are set to announce the names of the Matric 2026 position holders this evening, a day ahead of the full annual result declaration.
According to board officials, the names of the top-performing students in the 2026 annual matriculation examinations will be revealed at 4:00 PM today, while the complete SSC Part 2 result will be declared tomorrow, August 6, at 10:00 AM.
Students and their families across all districts in Punjab are now awaiting the official declaration of the position holders, who are traditionally honoured with medals, shields and merit certificates at a special ceremony held by the board.
The announcement follows a similar pattern to other boards across the province and the country. In neighbouring Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the BISE Peshawar board has already announced its Class 10 position holders ahead of the release of full results, honouring top achievers at a ceremony attended by board officials, teachers and parents.
Once released, students will be able to check the complete position holders’ list, along with names, roll numbers, schools and marks, through the official BISE Lahore website and press announcements. Officials have advised students and parents to rely only on the board’s verified merit list rather than unofficial figures circulating on social media.
Following today’s announcement, focus will shift to tomorrow’s full result, when students across the Lahore Board’s jurisdiction will be able to check their marks online by roll number, name, SMS service, or the official result gazette.
