In Punjab, boards in Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Multan, D.G. Khan, and Sahiwal announce results on the same day to ensure transparency and uniformity across the province.

Last year, the 12th-grade results were also announced in September, with an overall pass percentage of around 78%. This year, board officials expect improved results, citing that students were provided with greater academic support and facilities compared to previous years.
According to education specialists, universities and colleges will announce their admission policies immediately after the release of results. For candidates aspiring to pursue medicine and engineering, these results are particularly crucial, as merit lists for admissions will be based on the obtained marks.
In conclusion, the announcement of the 12th-grade results on September 18 by all Punjab boards will mark a major step in the province’s academic calendar. Students have been advised to prepare for the next stage promptly and choose their preferred fields of study with careful consideration.
