Twelve faculty members of Punjab University have gone absconding after receiving scholarships worth millions of rupees, without fulfilling their obligation to rejoin university service.
In response, the university administration has decided to approach the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and other relevant authorities to initiate the recovery of the disbursed funds from them.
Additionally, letters will also be sent to the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, requesting the blocking of their national identity cards and passports of the absconding individuals.
