Federal Board announces SSC 2026 results

ISLAMABAD:  The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examinations, with nearly 293,000 students appearing in the exams.

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Wednesday announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part I and Part II annual examinations for 2026.

Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui attended the result announcement ceremony as the chief guest, while board officials shared key statistics regarding the examination process.

According to FBISE, a total of 292,831 students appeared in the annual examinations this year. Officials said 86 cheating cases were reported during the examination period.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations, the board established 1,006 examination centres across its jurisdiction. A total of 2,012 supervisory staff members and 6,996 invigilators were deployed to oversee the examinations.

For the assessment process, the board engaged 4,855 teachers to evaluate answer scripts. Officials said 10,706 teachers had applied to serve as paper examiners.

Board authorities said the examination process was conducted under strict monitoring measures to ensure transparency and fairness, adding that efforts would continue to further improve the quality and integrity of the examination system in the coming years.
