ISLMAABAD: The Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) on Friday announced a significant increase in petroleum product prices for the upcoming week, effective April 25, 2026.
According to an official press release, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been raised by Rs26.77 per litre, taking it from Rs353.42 to Rs380.19 per litre.
Similarly, the price of Motor Spirit (petrol) has also been increased by Rs26.77 per litre, rising from Rs366.58 to Rs393.35 per litre.

The revised prices will remain in effect for one week starting from April 25, 2026.
The latest hike comes amid continued volatility in global oil markets and mounting pressure on Pakistan’s import-dependent energy sector. The increase is expected to further impact inflation, particularly affecting transportation costs and essential commodities across the country.
Officials have indicated that the adjustments reflect changes in international oil prices and exchange rate fluctuations, in line with the government’s pricing mechanism.
