Chasing a daunting 224-run target, Zimbabwe Women collapsed under disciplined Pakistani bowling and were bowled out for 90 in 17.1 overs. Kelis Ndhlovu provided early resistance with a rapid 32 off 13 balls, but regular wickets derailed the chase.
Left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal starred with the ball, claiming three wickets for 20 runs. Nashra Sandhu took two wickets, while Rameen Shamim and Tuba Hassan also chipped in with economical spells.
Pakistan Women dominated throughout the series with strong batting displays and disciplined bowling performances. The victory also highlighted the growing depth in Pakistan’s women’s cricket setup ahead of upcoming international assignments and regional tournaments.
Women’s cricket in Pakistan has seen steady progress in recent years following increased investment by the Pakistan Cricket Board in domestic structures and international exposure.
