LAHORE: An Intelligence Bureau-led investigation into an alleged narcotics network linked to “Pinky Don” uncovered sensitive connections involving law enforcement officials, political figures, and entertainment personalities, while sources insist the case is purely criminal in nature.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Mansoor Ali Khan cited high-level sources as saying that the Sindh government, concerned over the growing spread of narcotics in urban areas, tasked the Intelligence Bureau (IB) around six months ago with taking action against organized drug trafficking networks. According to the report, IB agreed to intervene on the condition that investigators would face no political or administrative pressure during the operation.
Sources quoted in the program said a special IB team was formed and equipped with advanced surveillance tools to track the network. The first breakthrough reportedly came after two suspected hashish dealers were arrested. Investigators allegedly recovered a gold-colored box labeled “Queen Madam Pinky Don,” which led authorities to the alleged mastermind.
According to the report, “Pinky” was operating from Lahore while her family belonged to Karachi. Sources claimed the network had been active for nearly 12 to 13 years. Undercover officers were reportedly deployed at private parties and nightlife venues in Karachi’s Clifton and DHA areas to trace the alleged suspect.
Mansoor Ali Khan furhter claimed that more than 1.5 kilograms of cocaine were recovered during the operation. The report stated that cocaine was prepared in small “egg-shaped” packets weighing between 15 and 20 grams. Raw cocaine was allegedly supplied by foreign nationals from countries including Nigeria and Egypt before being refined locally using chemicals such as ephedrine, ketamine, and acetone to increase potency and market value.
The report further claimed that women were widely used within the network because they faced less scrutiny during security checks. Sources also alleged that some foreign suspects had married locally in Pakistan to facilitate movement and operations.
Investigators reportedly recovered a single mobile phone containing nearly 30 GB of data, 37,000 files, and around 2,700 contacts. Mansoor Ali Khan claimed the device contained contacts linked to entertainment personalities, political figures, and officials from multiple law enforcement agencies. Names allegedly mentioned included actress Meera, Rimsha Khan, Sadiq Iftikhar, Muneeb Bhatti, and Sanam Agha. No official response from these individuals was immediately available.
According to the report, authorities also recovered more than 500 photographs and nearly 100 videos from the device. One alleged video reportedly showed a blindfolded individual being tortured, though the authenticity of the footage has not been independently verified.
Mansoor Ali Khan said some social media users attempted to link the case with Bani Gala and political motives, but sources rejected those claims and described the investigation as a straightforward criminal probe. The report added that since the operation was initiated on the instructions of the Sindh government, portraying it as an action against a particular political party would be misleading.
Authorities have yet to issue a comprehensive official statement regarding the case, while several claims circulating online remain unverified independently.
