
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced a reduction in POL prices for the first fortnight of March on Friday night, according to an official statement from the Finance Ministry.
As per the statement, fuel prices have been further reduced for the initial two weeks of March. The revised prices include a Rs. 0.50 per litre decrease in MS (Petrol), Rs. 5.31 per litre in High-Speed Diesel (HSD), Rs. 3.53 per litre in Superior Kerosene Oil, and Rs. 2.47 per litre in Light Diesel Oil (LDO).
Following this reduction, the new POL prices for the first half of March are as follows:
High-Speed Diesel (HSD): Rs. 258.64 per litre
Motor Spirit (MS/Petrol): Rs. 255.63 per litre
Superior Kerosene Oil: Rs. 168.12 per litre
Diesel Oil (LDO): Rs. 153.34 per litre

Previously, the existing prices stood at Rs. 263.95 per litre for HSD, Rs. 256.13 per litre for Petrol, Rs. 171.65 per litre for Superior Kerosene Oil, and Rs. 155.81 per litre for LDO, as stated in the notification.
Meanwhile, OGRA has also announced a reduction in LPG prices by Rs. 6.15 per kilogram, resulting in a Rs. 72.57 decrease in the cost of a domestic LPG cylinder.
A notification has been issued for the revised LPG prices for March, setting the new price at Rs. 247.82 per kilogram. Following this adjustment, the price of an 11.8-kilogram domestic cylinder has been reduced to Rs. 2,924.31, down from the previous rate of Rs. 2,996.88 set for February.
